Next Step This Week

I’ve been remiss in my writing as of late due to my annual cold, which may not be just a cold. I will find out tomorrow.

I did however watch the Super Bowl yesterday, and I have a few favorite commercials. I liked Volkswagen’s “Dog Strikes Back”, because it lined up with a common and relatable New Year resolution for people in the audience. Also, I just found it really funny. Next, on my list of favorites is Budweisers “Dog Rescue”, with the dog named Weego, every time the dog is called he brought you a drink. This commercial made you aware of the product and the dog, combined with the announcement in the beginning that he was a rescue dog and the tag at the end, the point of the ad was made. Finally, M&M’s “Just My Shell”, the product was the main star, with a funny twist on the animated characters, introducing M&M Miss Brown.

If you want some laughs, check out the TaxACT commercial, you may not actually remember what it is for, but it has a good sense of humor.

On the job front, I have an interview, an in person one, for a job I really want, on Wednesday. Right now I’m so excited I am almost incoherent, which coupled with the fact I can barely talk is terrible. I have two days to regain my voice and talk up my strengths. Regardless, of the overall outcome I’m proud of myself for obtain repeated responses from a job I’m not only qualified but can see myself loving.
